Quick update to my blog:

Started a new job..

.It has been a trial and rewarding past 9 months since I have started this blog. 

Job is not as easy to find as I thought when I moved my family down here to Florida...

Don't let the rhetoric of the Election Campaign fool you.. Use your own judgement.. as I found out I am my best source of info and finding jobs not a government bs of creating jobs, you can create jobs all you want per companies advertising jobs opening but to even get an interview is like applying for a college admission essay.

It is all boiled down to who you know not what you know or your college degree....

 Today is another beautiful day blessed by the Lord Allmighty, I challenge everyone to go out and find beauty in everything that you see or encounter and upload pictures to share..Mine is here..

Lemon Ice Box Pie by Helen McRoberts

I got this very easy recipe from my friend Helen.

you need a Graham cracker pie crust 9 oz or other crust if you don't like Graham cracker.
 4 eggs
 1/2 cups milk
 1 can of sweetened condensed milk  14 oz
 2/3 cups lemon juice and maybe a table spoon more if u like lemon.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs then add the rest of the ingredients and  beat until smooth,  poor into the pie crust then bake at 350 degr. for 20 to 25 minutes it will set.

Good morning, counting down to year 2012. The goal is to have a new job by new year...and finding a job that allows me to use my passion for people at the same time making a living.

Sometime I get really sad when I get a rejection letter to all of my application and interview but then a creative juice would start flowing thru my brain, such as this idea of blogging my daily jaunts. I have been job hunting since my recent move here to Florida. I was very naive in my estimation of myself in finding a job. I have a degree (isn't that what I went to college for?) Isn't that what we been selling our children and society for years? Well while Education is well and good, not so in this economy.

 I have learned that there are at least 1000 applicants for every one position job that become available.

So today I will start my daily job search and blog about my experiences

 I kid you not I went to an interview where at least 30 people showed up in one time slot for 9-12 positions open. So at two sessions a day time 3 times a week that is 90 people in one sessions time two we are looking at a pool of 180 people to 12 ratio. I felt like we were on American Idol or something as we auditioned for the job.
